The Capriol Suite, written in 1926, is a set of dances in the renaissance style based on tunes found in a manual of renaissance dances by Arbeau. Peter's arrangement of 4 movements still retains the 20th century features that Warlock added to give the work its quirky, idiosyncratic and eccentric character.
